One of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever photographed happened this July in the breathtakingly beautiful Big Sur, CA. My brother-in-law & now sis-in-law eloped in a redwood forest right by the Pacific Ocean. We stayed the weekend at Ripplewood Resort in a cabin surrounded by the tall redwood trees and found the perfect little secret area for their ceremony. My handsome hubby was the officiant who gave the sweetest message before Mike & Alexa exchanged the most heartfelt vows along with their beautiful 2 month old daughter, Taylee. And I was behind the camera getting chills! After the ceremony, we roamed around the resort taking photos in the rock-filled river and then headed to the clear blue ocean at Pfeiffer State Beach.
