In 2013 I attended the Bliss & Bokeh Retreat in Charleston, SC and was able to meet & make friends with some very talented women! It was such an amazing experience to learn from KT Merry, Joy Thigpen, Emily Newman, Tara Guerard, Whitney English, Lynn Easton, Melissa Bigner and Leigh Webber…a week I will never forget. While there, we had the opportunity to shoot at the gorgeous Middleton Place Plantation with styled setups by Easton Events and Joy Thigpen. This was my first experience shooting with a medium format film camera, and I was pleasantly surprised with the results. The images here are a mixture of digital and film, but since the retreat I have fallen in love with shooting film & plan to start incorporating this medium into my work more often!
